Sterling silver and carved water buffalo bone. $139.

Buddha, the awakened one, sits on a lotus flower throne with hands in the mudra of meditation. The pendant is just under 3 inches high from the tip of the rays at the base to the top of the bail. It is 2 inches wide at the center. The bail opening for a chain is just over 1/4 inch. The hand carved image is 1 and 3/4 inch high by 1 and 1/4 inch wide. Chain not included.

It comes from domesticated animals that helped Balinese farmers plow the rice fields and died of natural causes. The bones are cleaned and blessed before being carved into sacred images.
