Three Little Birds

The bowl is 4 and 1/2 inches by 4 inches. The entire piece is 8” long. * and 1/2 inches between tail tips of the birds on the rim. 4 and 1/4 inches tall at the highest point.

This sculpture is carved from Chinaberry wood, a cultivated fast growing tree. Tropical mistletoes attach themselves to the tree branches. When they dry up and fall off, they leave perfect impressions of where they were. These beautiful flared impressions are integrated into the design when creating a sculpture.
